The World looks different from here…

This is me in the booth. I am wearing the so-called headset that enables me to listen to the speaker in the conference room and to translate his or here words immediately or simultaneously into the target language. This work is very demanding, so that simultaneous interpreters always work in pairs. The computer is always up and running, so that I can research technical terms in my glossaries, dictionaries and, of course, on the internet.
