Carpe diem – Seize the day!

In the bustle of the high interpreting season it is helpful to sometimes look up from your PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone and to cherish the here and now. I am time and again intrigued by a vast horizon, irrespective of the (sometimes sensational, sometimes ordinary) scenery. Maybe that is down to the fact that as a simultaneous interpreter I spent a lot (and I mean a lot) of time in the confined space of an interpreting booth.
