As I mentioned before, I worked in Zermatt today, and that happened in the interpreting booth displayed here. For the first time this interpreter worked looking through potted flowers. So while interpreting I was saying it with flowers, as it were. The environment was quite cosy, for the booth was not a standard one. Inside we found not the usual functional desk lamp. On the contrary, there was a wonderfully dimmed lamp which belonged rather in a living room, featuring an oriental boy dressed in baggy trousers and holding a bowl.
